Kids Kreate Class / Songline aboriginal art

Come learn and create your own story as a songline through aboriginal art.

We will learn how to use color and patterns to paint our own songline.

Songline’ describes the features and directions of travel that were included in a song that had to be sung and memorised for the traveller to know the route to their destination.

Using simple dot patterns and mimicking the outback aboriginal examples.

Our songline will be about us and our land and ocean , the birds of the sky and fish in the sea .

We start by making it truly ours with a handprint and then proceed into our painting.

Seating is limited to 7 and you must be 8 yrs old to attend.

Class will start at 4:45 even though its marked 4:30 to allow for all who want to be there to get there.

You may bring in a snack if you wish
