Cherry Blossoms in the Pink

Every year we paint cherry blossoms as they bloom and spring becomes in the pink.

This annual tradition is a beginner’s watercolor  class  for the past 5 years!

You will learn the process of watercolor working primarily in a monochromatic fashion…..all pink!

Learn how to apply layers to delicately represent the blossoms and buds of the cherry blossom tree.

This is the first of two beginner’s courses where you will be introduced to the materials and the process as you paint.

Depending on when these tress bloom you will work from real clippings ( real life) or a photo reference to make your painting.
